Today is Monday, November 4. As of Saturday, many males became clean-shaven to grow various styles of mustaches to raise funds for mens health issues like prostate and testicular cancer.
If you are Canadian, you would be happy to know this. With 120, 540 participants, Canadians have raised $3,949,327. This is followed by the United States with $3,702,990 dollars and 154,792 participants and United Kingdom with 187, 748 participants and $3, 047, 819. The total I would like to point to you is at the bottom right hand corner of the page. The total raised across the world for this monthly campaign is $15, 128, 493. In Canada, Movember is saying that 87.1 percent of the funds are committed to programs prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. In the United States, it’s 83.1 percent. In 2012, Canada’s Movemeber campaign raised $42 million dollars. In the United States, it was $21 million dollars. Needless to say, the campaign has been successful.
