Agree or Disagree: Health Code Violations are dealt with effectively

One of the stories that got a little lost in Calgary “Blue Circle” debate yesterday was that a Wendy’s restaurant on Macleod Trail was temporary shut down due to health code violations.

According to this story posted by CTV News, there was structural damage to the building that due to age, was time to look at. However, other places reported that employees were handling food without washing their hands. There was up to 16 health code violations.

This type on incident, particularly from a major chain like Wendy’s, leads to some questions of how Alberta Health Services handles health code violations. What do you think of how your area, or city handles Health Code Violations?
