I know some might think that anyone that posts a question like this is I’m being a little prude.But I assure you I’m not.
The Stampede has been traditionally a large alchohol consumption time. We have made many jokes about it. The Stampede Shine” .”Liquid Breakfasts” etc.
In a previous job, I actually saw people quite publically drink at 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning. They looked liker they did and their lives backed it up. I know there were a few pancake breakfasts that offered alchohol as part of the drink menu.
It’s a personal choice whether you want to drink or not. But there also have been enough jokes or behind the back judging that someone should bring this up as a discussion.
We all have also known someone who has struggled with alcoholism. The ones in the midst know the seriousness of the issue
What are your thoughts? Am I being prude for asking?
